The Garden: Commune or Cult

Is this The Garden from Discovery Channel’s The Garden: Commune or Cult ?

Sort of, but Not quite.

We would like to clarify that, although The Garden is mentioned in the title of the show and referenced often, the budding land project depicted in The Garden: Commune or Cult? is not The Garden in Tennessee.

So, what is the garden from the discovery channel tv show?

The community land project in The Garden: Commune or Cult is called Emberfield. You can learn more by visiting their website or connecting with the Peoples Project, an organization that supports The Garden, Emberfield, and similar projects.

Additionally, while many of the people who participated in the filming may have come to know each other at The Garden, most do not live there full-time. The Garden belongs to a human network, united by visions of PEACE: Personal responsibility, Earth stewardship, Autonomy, Cooperation, and Equality. The Garden is just the tip of an iceberg.

In respect to the wider network, The Garden functions primarily as a gathering space for PEACE-ful individuals to connect and collaborate. The population of this land ebbs and flows with the planting and harvest seasons.
